As a Vietnamese-American, Kathy Nguyen appreciates the freedom and opportunities her adopted country affords her. Starvation was the norm, and freedom was an unfamiliar concept in war-torn Vietnam. The contrasting economic potential in the United States called upon Kathy’s creativity and determination to contribute.
A strong commitment to service drives Kathy’s career choices. After completing her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, she started working at a non-profit organization serving the healthcare needs of Oklahoma’s indigent population. She discovered what truly brought her fulfillment was helping clients resolve their life challenges.
Kathy changed the course of her life of social service with her decision to assume the responsibility of caring for her elderly parents in 2014. She moved back to Texas and started her insurance and tax preparation businesses. Her service experience and ability to problem-solve helped her build her loyal client base.
At the urging those clients, Kathy also became a real estate agent. They wanted her to help them with one of their biggest life experiences—buying and selling their homes. Kathy loves working as a real estate agent. The profession gives her continuous opportunities to learn, grow, and share her knowledge with clients.
Above all, Kathy is client motivated—client’s success is her success. She stays prepared for occasions to improve her clients’ position. Dedication and commitment to her clients extend beyond her business hours, they are like family to her.
Kathy’s business is built on relationships. Her passion to serve, a strong work ethic, and uncompromising integrity form these relationships—her long term investment. In her free time, Kathy spends time with her niece and nephew. They remind her to relax and enjoy the little things in life.
